4oD has been available on Channel4.com for about 6 months now. It seems a good time to take stock.
One thing is certain: a lot more programmes are being watched by a lot more people than when 4oD was an Application. Nearly three times as many programmes are being watched every month as were last year. [...]

All being well, the next release of Channel4.com will happen next week.
Here’s what’s new in the release:

First batch of Archive 4oD programmes
Addition of a Pop-Out player
Subtitles (where available)
New 4oD landing-page including predictive-text video finder
Player tweaks for smoother playback
Enhanced PIN / access-control functionality
