Did Boris lure Tory activists to call Eastleigh voters?
Conservative efforts in Eastleigh have intensified with an email to activists urging them to canvass by telephone, even by making calls from home. And the party even appeared to throw in an extra inducement – the possibility of meeting of Boris Johnson if they were willing to to go to Conservative HQ to make canvass calls there last night. Let’s hope he turned up.

Subject: Can You Join Boris Tomorrow at CCHQ??….
Monday saw a fantastic night of telephone canvassing as we kicked off our calling effort for Eastleigh. A massive thank you to all who came along to help Eric Pickles, Theresa May and Grant Shapps hit the phones; we have now made well over 3,000 calls just from CCHQ alone!!
We now have to keep this momentum going all the way through to poll day on the 28th, we will be open Monday – Thursday 18:30pm – 20:30pm and on the weekend Saturday & Sunday 10am-4pm.
The Call Centre at CCHQ will be open both weekends leading up to poll day on the 28th. We will be operating this Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th from 10am – 4pm. So if the Six Nations or the FA Cup is not your thing then please do pop in and keep me company!!
Please email me (email@example.com) letting me know if you can attend on either Saturday or Sunday.
Calls from Home…
A quick reminder that our calling system can be used from the comfort of your own home. All you need to do is register a username and password; you can do so by clicking here. Once your account has been verified then you can logon and start making calls.
Any problems or questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Hope to see you all tomorrow or on the weekend!
