And a very frugal Christmas from guess who?
I have just received a Christmas card through the post with a “reverse charges” postage unpaid bill for £1.30. Who forgot to stamp the envelope? Guess.

That’s one way get rid of the budget deficit. And a very Merry Christmas to you too, Alistair!

And on that seasonal note, this blog is taking a break. Thank you for reading and have a Merry Christmas.

Ho Ho Ho
Have you checked for Tipp-Ex painted over last years message inside the card…?
… and I bet there are lots of cards with “Happy Xmas Darling” written inside, that could easily be recycled by no 11 without the need for Tipp-Ex….
Bah Humbug!
I wonder how much will be claimed on the ‘Gentlemens Corrupt Den Of Inequity’ Expenses for this card? £50,000?
I wish all MPs a very very bad Xmas and, may you all get what you deserve in the new year or, is it 5 years now?
New Year, same old corrupt people in government.
The mans a genius he’s trying to save the Royal Mail at the same time too!
Well Alister got the Bank of England to print money , he obviously couldnt get the Post Office to print stamps for him, so he used Quantitive Easing
Let’s learn from this and take revenge.
Any organisation that’s ripped us off, or individuals who’ve allowed their greed to get the better of them, can be sent unstamped envelopes addressed to them. It’ll cost them a minimum of £1 per time, plus any administrative costs.
The problem will be; who to put at the head of the queue; bankers, politicians, credit card providers, or failed regulators?
Haha! Does this mean Darling is human after all? Hope Christmas was good and look forward to seeing you again in the New year!
Sadly not. It means his department is, like him, incompetent. No surprise.
And now the vile bastards are looking to “nationalise” (i.e. steal) charitable donations!
Anything to plug the gaps they made over ten years of profligacy with our money!
under political correctness did you mean those nasty persons who were born outside wedlock , poor things.,for they now have priority
Actually, Adrian, they don’t have any priority if they work hard and pay taxes!
Happy New Year to everyone.
My Resolution is spend spend spend.
Just looking for the money.. hedging my bets on a few gypsies… must help improve that economy.
