It’s that time of year again when hoards of grown ups shuffle to cinemas in oversized dressing gowns and unblemished teens carve scars on their faces with mascara.
As the sixth instalment of Harry Potter’s magical adventures hits the big screen the world and his wife seem compelled to don long beards and try casting spells with their pretzel sticks.
But it’s not just the costumes getting fans carried away. Potter parties around the globe are awash with culinary magic. American blogger, Apron Adventures, has constructed a pensieve dip from fondue and made appetising dragon snot from lime and sherbet.
Not to be outdone, fans in the UK are prepping their Potter menus to include pumpkin pasties and cauldron cakes. And here at 4Food, we’re doing our bit to quash the Dark Lord by downing a pint or two of butterbeer.
So are you partial to a peppermint toad? Let us know what’s on your magical menus in honour of Harry Potter.
