Concerned parents beware: Thursday night sees the launch of the brand new series of Skins on E4!
Alongside regular irregulars like Effy and Cook, the new series will introduce a whole new bunch of teens behaving badly. The Skins website is gearing up for the event with a frenzy of exclusive videos, articles, pictures, blogs, guides and quizzes. To get the party started, check out this clip from the first episode.
Comedy fans will spot that the really old bloke giving the Skins crew a hard time is comedian Chris Addison, star of The Thick of It and In the Loop. (Skins is probably the first time in Chris’ career that he’s been out-fresh-faced on screen.)
If you’re a fan of his stand-up comedy, you can still vote for Chris in Channel4.com’s poll to find the 100 greatest stand-up comedians. Some 150,000 votes have already been cast, and the poll closes at midnight on Friday.
Of course, classroom drama featuring very strong language, drug taking, alcohol abuse, violence and scenes of a sexual nature is nothing new on Channel 4. The difference is, the first time round it was the Teachers not the students who were doing all the misbehaving…
Here on Channel4.com we’ve got all four series of this classic comedy drama available to watch on 4oD. As a taster, watch this clip of the teachers struggling to impart their somewhat hazy knowledge of biology to their long-suffering pupils.
Sample sex education wisdom: ‘A man sheep meets a lady sheep… and they fall in love’. Enjoy!
